Clinical Outcomes Group Inc. (COGI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, outpatient drug and alcohol facility located in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. COGI provides various recovery services to the residents of Schuylkill and surrounding counties. COGI currently services nearly 550 individuals, of all ages, with substance use related problems.
The Avenues Foundation was created to ensure that needed funds would be available for Avenues, a multifaceted human service organization providing programs and support for people with disabilities and their families in Schuylkill and surrounding counties, to meet its mission today and in the future.
Big Impact Group is a mentoring program helping Schuylkill County youth for over 35 years. Through the dedication of our volunteers and strong community support we are able to make this program successful. Care Net Pregnancy Center of Schuylkill County, now serving as Real Options is life-affirming resource for individuals faced with an unplanned or crisis pregnancy. We offer tangible assistance to our clients in a compassionate and Christ-centered environment.
Servants to All is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is Schuylkill County’s only homeless program with the exception of Schuylkill Women in Crisis serves female domestic violence victims. Servants to All serves both men and women and provides homeless outreach, employment/transportation assistance, food assistance, clothing and other material goods. When funds are available. Our day center in Pottsville operates as the main hub of the program, and an overnight facility at the United Presbyterian Church provides 13 beds for men and women.
Located in the center of Shenandoah, the J.W. Cooper Community Center’s mission is to save and restore the former J.W. Cooper High School to its original condition while simultaneously providing needed benefits to the Shenandoah community and surrounding areas by providing a food bank (Beverly Mattson Memorial Food Bank), clothing, books and toys for those in need. Future plans for a theater, youth center, business incubator, pool and storage space is ongoing thanks to local volunteer efforts.
The Community Mission Ministries &The Fuller Center for Housing of The Community Mission are non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministries dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide. We believe everyone deserves a simple, decent, and affordable place to live and strive to make that possible through the formation of community partnerships in the U.S. and all over the world.
Homeless Outreach Mission and Evangelism is a mission established to hand out food, clothing, and personal hygiene products at donation areas of food pantries, homeless shelters, parks, streets, Port Authorities, and anywhere else there is a need in New York, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania at this point.
