Who Are We?
Big Impact Group of Schuylkill County Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized to assist in the personal development of at-risk youth through the enhancement of skills, interests, and mutual trust through supervised mentoring relationships with carefully screened and trained adult volunteers.
The primary goal of Big Impact Group is to produce positive inner and outer changes in the youth, including a strengthened sense of self-worth, development of character, and improved relationships and performances at home, school and in the community.
Bowl For B.I.G.S.
When? Our BFBS event is held in late March or the beginning of April. Dates and times TBA!
Where? You can find our event at Strike Zone Alleys, Pottsville; Spare-Time, Hometown; and Pine Lanes, Pine Grove. Thanks to these local bowling alleys we are fortunate enough to allow for our event to take place on different days and at multiple times so that we can give you more opportunities to join us!
Why? This is our BIGGEST and ONLY fundraising event of the year. Our program is aimed to provide positive mentoring to the youth of our county. In order to do so we need your help. This fundraiser is a way for you to give back your community and have fun doing so!

Want to Get Involved?
If you are looking to work with children and looking to give back to the community then you have come to the right place. Big Impact Group is looking for fun, caring and dependable people to mentor the youth in our community. There are a few steps a volunteer must go through in order to become a Mentor. (Check out our checklist!) Once a Mentor is accepted into our program they will be matched to a youth.
