Who Are We?

         Homeless Outreach Mission and Evangelism, otherwise known as HOME, began just a few short years back.  It all started during an everyday family trip to New York City.  The Lord spoke to me, not in actual words, but in feelings.  He made our purpose very clear.  That purpose is to provide for those who cannot provide for themselves.  To provide them with their immediate needs as well as spread the Word and Love of Jesus Christ.  So, from that point on, my family, which includes my husband, myself, and our three amazing teenagers, have been taking trips to New York City, Washington D.C., and areas of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  We have handed out food, clothing, and personal hygiene products.  We have walked railroad tracks, set up donation areas in food pantries, homeless shelters, parks, streets, and Port Authorities.  Our church family has gotten behind us in donation, prayer, and support. Many others, including CCOP church,  have joined the support system since then.  We are so blessed and thankful to have watched it grow to the point that it has.  However, we know in our hearts, that God has much bigger plans for this program.  There are many more people out there that need our help, but we cannot do it without the help of many others, including yourself.  We are in constant need of donation supplies and financial support as well.  We encourage others to join in this mission.  We will not stop until The Good Lord calls us to His Home and we know that He will provide the means for it to grow.  Everyone deserves a chance to have their basic needs met and we are simply a small piece of a much bigger puzzle that accomplishes that goal.  Thank you in advance.

  • Gently used clothing (to include sock, shoes, coats, mens/womens pants and shirts, hats, gloves, scarve)
  • Blankets
  • Bibles
  • Travel-sized personal hygiene products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, tissues, deodorant)
  • Food products (non-expired canned goods, snack packs, granola bars, and other non-perishable small containers only)
  • Bottled waters
  • Financial donations
  • Volunteers to walk the streets with us
  • A lot of prayer
