A Little About Us
The Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library has served the Orwigsburg community and surrounding municipalities for over 40 years. Our beautiful new home is located on the lower level of The Independence Square building at 216 West Independence Street.
Library Mission Statement: To provide educational and recreational materials free of charge without discrimination.
The Orwigsburg Area Free Public Library aims to provide all segments of our community with effective free public library services. It is the library's goal to offer the widest range of services consistent with its economic support in order to provide a significant informational, educational and cultural resource.
The Library is open:
Monday – Thursday: 10am – 7pm
Friday: 10am – 5pm
Saturday: 9am – 4pm (Summer Saturdays 9am – 1pm)
