Who Are We?

The Avenues Foundation was created to ensure that needed funds would be available for Avenues to meet its mission today and in the future.

The Avenues Foundation will carry out activities to raise funds from grants, contributions, bequests and other devises for Avenues.

The Avenues Foundation will receive by gift, grant, devise, bequest or otherwise, and from any public or private source, personal or real property, outright or in trust, and to hold, administer, sell, invest, reinvest, manage, use, disburse and distribute, and apply the income of the same in accordance with the directions and interests of the donors of such property, or in the absence of such directions, as the Corporation may determine consistent with it’s Articles of Incorporation, all for the benefit of Avenues or its successor. 
 

Supporting the Avenues Foundation
The Avenues Foundation being separate and distinct form Avenues, allows the Avenues Foundation Board of Directors to determine the best use of the philanthropic funds within the parameters identified by the donor.

Options for Giving
The Avenues Foundation accepts many types of gifts, including: cash donations, marketable securities, stocks, life insurance, real estate, retirement plan assets, and tangible personal properties. You may designate your gift to a particular program fund to address the specific needs of children, adults, and agency preservation and growth.

Avenues Foundation Fundraising Events
The Avenues Foundations holds 4 fundraising events per year for Avenues. They are as follows: The Yuengling Beer Tasting Dinner, held the 3rd Thursday of March; The Avenues Foundation Duck Race; held the last Sunday of April; The Avenues Foundation Annual Golf Classic, held the last Friday of July; and The Avenues Annual Appeal, held in December.


Avenues Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation and is a supporting organization of Avenues.

                          Opportunities to Help


Volunteer- Volunteers are needed for the Annual Duck Race Committee, The Duck Race Committee plans and executes the Duck Race. This is the Avenues Foundation’s largest fundraising event. The committee meets year around with a bigger time commitment needed during the months of March and April.

Volunteer – Volunteers are need for the Golf Classic Committee. The Committee plans and implements the Golf Tournament. The committee meets on a regular basis from January to August.

Sponsor – Various sponsorship levels are available for 3 fundraising events, The Yuengling Beer tasting Dinner, The Avenues Foundation Duck Race and The Avenues Foundation Golf Classic.

Participate- Just by participating in an event, you can support the Avenues Foundation. The Yuengling Beer Tasting Dinner Tickets are available in February, Adoption Certificate for Duck are available mid-March till Race time on Sunday, and Foursomes are accepted for the Golf Classic until full.

Donate – The Avenues Foundation accepts donations from December 1 – August 31. Please consider making Avenues Foundation part of your estate plans
